Green Steel Production
Breakthrough Solutions for Green Steel | VDMA TechTALK
In this presentation at the VDMA TechTALK on January 20, 2022, Dr. Alexander Fleischanderl addressed two major roadblocks on the way to a sustainable steel industry. Watch the video to learn what these two issues are and how they can be solved with breakthrough solutions.
Pioneers Talk #3: COP26, Climate Goals, and Green Production
Alexander Fleischanderl, just back from the COP26 climate conference, shares his experience and thoughts on what contribution the metals industry can make to global climate action.
Pioneers Talk #5: Greening the BF-BOF Steel-Production Route
Steel production is set to become more environmentally compatible than ever before. This session of Pioneers Talk features a discussion on how to “green” the integrated production route, which relies on two of the main emitters of CO2 in the process chain—the blast furnace and the basic oxygen furnace.
