At the end of January, a new LD(BOF) converter constructed by Primetals Technologies in a turnkey project entered service at the German steel producer ArcelorMittal Hochfeld GmbH.

Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann GmbH (HKM), a German steel producer, has awarded Primetals Technologies an order to supply two new ladle heating stations for the LD basic oxygen furnace plant at its Duisburg-Huckingen location.

In March, Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann GmbH (HKM) gave Primetals Technologies the final acceptance for the modernized LD (BOF) converter no. 2 in its Duisburg, Germany plant. The project involved equipping the converter plant with a new trunnion ring and new suspension.
