He has managed big international service and modernization projects in the USA, Europe and Asia, and he was co-creator of the Primetals Technologies support center in China. In this webinar, Jens will share his sound experience, how solutions offering remote assistance in a steel plant have developed over time and what challenges exist.

Martin Mucha has been working in the steel industry for more than 12 years. He gained international experience in the commissioning of automation systems for steel production. Since 2019, Martin is responsible for electrics and automation services at Primetals Technologies. Continuously, he is monitoring market trends, carefully listening to the needs of maintenance engineers and operators and scouting innovative solutions to assist steel producers keeping the performance of their plants on the highest possible level.

Andreas Rohrhofer originally completed his education as automation engineer. He started his career as product owner and product developer for industrial robots. For the last more than 8 years, Andreas was responsible for product development, project management and innovation management for electrics and automation for ironmaking, steelmaking and casting at Primetals Technologies. He has also commissioned several automation solutions at steel plants all over the world.
