Speakers

Christian Tauber

Research and Development Engineer, Primetals Technologies

Christian holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Vienna and a Master’s Degree in Environmental System Science from the University of Graz. During and before his studies he gained more than 10 years of professional experience in computer science and IT infrastructure design and maintenance. In 2019 he joined Primetals Technologies in Linz, Austria, as a Research and Development Engineer in the ironmaking department. 
In this role one of his major tasks is the introduction of new measurements or analysis methods for optimizing the iron making process.

Manuel Sattler

Data Analyst, Primetals Technologies

Manuel studied industrial logistics at the university of Leoben. After working a short time as a process manager, he started as a data analyst at Primetals Technologies with a heavy focus on optimizing EAFs. He also started to work on BI solutions to make the complex connections and correlations of a steel production chain transparent and understandable.
