Dr. Bernd Linzer
Vice President for ESP, Primetals Technologies
Bernd Linzer is Vice President for Endless Strip Production within Primetals Technologies, having a technical background by being granted a PhD in Metallurgy at the University of Leoben. He is with Primetals Technologies since 2007 and is following the ESP technology since the beginning by the installation of the Arvedi ESP Masterplant at Cremona/Italy in 2009. Afterwards he joined the team for marketing of this technology. Before taking over the responsibility for the ESP business in 2018, he was leading the R&D department, responsible for cast and roll processes and also metallurgical product development.
