Primetals Technologies today announced the appointment of Koji Sakatani as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Yoshiharu Ikeda who will retire. Koji Sakatani brings decades of experience in the heavy industry sector, including extensive leadership roles with a focus on strategic initiatives.
A Strong Background in the Metals Industry
Koji Sakatani began his career at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited and has held several global positions including Head of Strategy at Primetals Technologies. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Plants and Infrastructure Systems at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited.
