Primetals takes the protection of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as Data) very seriously. We hereby inform you about how Primetals processes your personal data when you register on our website, www.primetals.com.
We process the relevant personal data listed in section 3 to create and maintain an appropriate database of journalists who are interested in receiving the latest news and updates about Primetals.

4. HOW PRIMETALS PROCESSES YOUR DATA AND RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
To be included in our journalists database you must first register using the following link: primetals.com/media-resources. Subsequently, we will inform you on a regular basis about the latest news and updates regarding our company.
Access to your Data is restricted to a few selected employees of Primetals’ marketing department responsible for the journalists' database, and the IT department for technical administrative purposes.
Your personal data will only be transmitted to the company that provides IT systems and the platform for the journalists database on behalf of Primetals and is subsequently engaged in technical support activities (data processor). Furthermore, Primetals utilizes selected and contracted service providers (so-called data processors) to perform certain IT services, which may be located outside the European Economic Area (third countries), for example, IT service providers to ensure IT infrastructure and operations. In such cases, a transfer to a third country may occur. These third countries outside the European Union may not provide an adequate level of data protection (e.g., data subjects may not have data privacy rights; there may be no data protection authority, etc.). To ensure an adequate level of protection for your Data, as legally required, Primetals has established safeguards in accordance with legal requirements, such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Your Data will have the same level of protection as in the EU.
Primetals has entered into appropriate agreements with all data processors. The data processors process your Data solely on our behalf and according to our instructions.
