Guide Systems & Roll Pass Training Course Description
This two-day course provides comprehensive instruction on guiding and roll pass fundamentals, along with key concepts and theory to enhance practical understanding and application. Led by Primetals Technologies experts, the training combines classroom learning with hands-on practice to develop a complete understanding of rolling mill guides and roll pass.
Guides are often among the most overlooked components in a rolling mill, while roll pass is frequently seen as a complex practice understood by only a few. This course offers a structured progression from basic definitions and concepts to advanced theory, real-world examples, and hands-on training. Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to improve mill operations and apply best practices in guide use and roll pass design.
Training is available upon request and can be tailored to specific equipment and operational needs.
