Roll Housing Rebuilding & Maintenance Training Course Description
The objective of this course is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively inspect, disassemble, rebuild, and maintain Morgan No-Twist® Mill roll housings to support reliable mill operation and long-term equipment performance.
This three-day course provides comprehensive instruction on the function, maintenance, and rebuild procedures of Morgan No-Twist® Mill roll housings. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the roll housing assembly, including part identification, inspection methods, and the correct disassembly and reassembly techniques using Primetals Technologies’ specialized rebuild tooling.
The course includes hands-on training focused on mechanical methods for rebuilding roll housings and emphasizes the importance of proper tooling application to ensure safe, effective maintenance. Participants will gain the skills and confidence to service roll housings reliably and support long-term equipment performance. When combined with a consistent preventative maintenance plan, the knowledge gained in this course helps promote stable operations and supports production goals.
Training is available upon request and can be tailored to specific equipment and operational needs.
Target Group
Mechanics and technicians responsible for disassembling, assembling, and inspecting roll housings, as well as mill maintenance and production personnel involved in preventive and planned maintenance of the Morgan No-Twist® Mill.
