The Middle East Iron & Steel Conference 2024 brought together over 1,300 delegates from 61 countries and over 600 companies. Primetals Technologies’ booth attracted many visitors with its interactive 3D plant models and expert discussions on green steel and digitalization. Dr. Alexander Fleischanderl joined a panel on “Is the Region Poised to Become a Leader in the Production of DRI and Green Steel?”, while Christoph Aichinger and Wolfgang Sterrer hosted a workshop on “Defining Synergies from Pelletizing and Direct Reduction to Green Steel”, making it a standout event for industry networking and innovation.
