Course Description
The objective of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to efficiently inspect, disassemble, rebuild, and maintain Morgan No-Twist® Mill bevel gear drives for reliable, long-term mill performance.
This three-day course provides comprehensive instruction on the function, maintenance, and rebuild procedures of Morgan No-Twist® Mill bevel gear drives for both K-mills and V-mills. Led by Primetals Technologies experts, the training combines classroom learning with hands-on practice using specialized mechanical methods and tooling developed specifically for the Morgan No-Twist® Mill.
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the bevel gear drive assembly, including component identification, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing. The course emphasizes efficient rebuild practices and proper tool application to ensure safe, reliable operation. Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge and skills to maintain bevel gear drives effectively and support long-term mill performance.
Training is available upon request and can be tailored to specific equipment and operational needs.
