New 5000 MM Plate Mill at Dongkuk Steel, Dangjin Works, South Korea

Primetals Technologies received an order from Dongkuk Steel to engineer and supply the entire mechanical equipment and automation system for a new 5 metre wide Plate Mill. The plant was constructed at the company’s Dangjin Works in South Korea. Primetals Technologies was part of a consortium for the project, with other partners being Sojitz Corporation, Japan, and Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea.
