LanzaTech and Primetals Technologies renew 10-year cooperation to advance industry transition to green steel
LanzaTech, a leading carbon capture and utilization company, and Primetals Technologies today announce the signing of a renewed ten-year cooperation agreement to accelerate the deployment of integrated environmental solutions for the steel industry worldwide. Through this new 10-year agreement, Primetals Technologies and LanzaTech will enable more projects in the global iron and steel sector to adopt LanzaTech’s carbon recycling technologies.

New sustainable technology for carbon capture and utilization now market ready
On December 8, ArcelorMittal hosted an inauguration ceremony together with LanzaTech, E4tech, and Primetals Technologies for the Steelanol plant located nearby ArcelorMittal’s steel plant in Ghent, Belgium. Every ton of ethanol produced at the Steelanol plant will reduce CO2 emissions by 2.3 tons.
