Primetals Technologies has received an order from Naveena Steel Mills (Private) Limited (Naveena Steel) to supply a continuous billet casting machine and a bar rolling mill for a new mini mill in Port Qasim, Karachi. The billet caster will be supplied by Concast (India) Ltd., a Primetals Technologies group company.

In October, Primetals Technologies received the order from Compania Siderurgica Huachipato S.A. (CAP ACERO) to replace LD (BOF) converter #1 in its Talcahuano, Chile works. This repeat order follows the successful start-up of converter #2 in May 2018, which was also revamped by Primetals Technologies.

Primetals Technologies has received an order from Ulsan Aluminum  Ltd., a Korean aluminum producer, to supply new automation technology to the company's hot rolling mill and cold rolling mill no. 2 in Ulsan in the southeast of Korea.

Chinese steel maker Chengde Steel Vanadium Titanium cold-rolled sheets Co, Ltd. (Chengde Steel) has placed an order with Primetals Technologies to supply a continuous pickling line (CPL) and a continuous galvanizing line (CGL) for a new cold rolling and processing plant to be built in the company´s location in Chengde, Hebei Province.

Chinese steelmaker Rizhao Baohua New material Co., Ltd (Rizhao Baohua) awarded Primetals Technologies a contract for the process supply of a continuous hot skin pass and tension levelling line (CHSPM). The new line will be installed at the company´s production facility in Rizhao, Shandong Province.
