Primetals Technologies has received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) from Yantai Walsin Stainless Steel for a new stainless steel combination mill, enabling Yantai Walsin to produce 420,000 tons per year of stainless steel and nickel alloy products. This new mill meets the increase in market demand for high-quality stainless steel products in China.

A future implementation of direct reduction and electric steelmaking plants at the IJmuiden site emphasizes a need for well-structured and carefully developed pellet-feed mixtures.

Recently, ArcelorMittal granted the final acceptance certificate (FAC) to Primetals Technologies for a gas cleaning plant at its blast furnace No. 2 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Silesia Voivodeship, Poland. The gas clecning plant is responsible for ensuring emissions from the blast furnace are in line with environmental norms.
